I love the concept- and it's cool to discover what everything does and new and exciting ways to die (blown up by barrel? check. Squashed by block? check. Plummet into the void? oh yes...). Big problem I had with this was the janky character movement. It feels both unresponsive and floaty. There's no way of turning on a small block, for instance, without falling off the other side, and there's a slight delay after pressing the button before something happens. I always appreciate controller support on NG tho :)

Update: Tried again using keyboard- movement great. Think the game just doesn't like my Logitech gamepad. Weird!

Thanks! Can you elaborate more on the movement? I have put a lot of work into tweaking it. It is a bit fast for sure, but how often have you needed to turn on a small block in this game? If you play with an analog control stick you can have control to move slowly.

There should not be any delay when pressing buttons. It is very responsive here. What OS and browser are you using?

Yes- I finally got my NG Station X! This game's a lot of fun. Spent most of it with a big idiotic grin on my face bouncing along to the music XD

This is really good! The SNES-style graphics and sound are great, controls well, and the bosses are just fantastic. Slight gripe-I always appreciate controller support, but not having this in the menu is a bit annoying. Also, it would be good to see more inventiveness before you hit the bosses. Think this is already in the top 5 percent (at least) of NG bullet hell games, but could reach a higher level still.

Thanks so much for playing, and also your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have a bad habit of glossing over controller usage for menus, I'll try and fix that in a future update patch!

Even though I don't know the first thing about baseball, I love your bizarre and quirky writing style! I haven't got too far in this yet but first impressions are it's very much more of a story than a game- but still a very good one. I'll look forward to coming back to it.

Thanks for playing, I hope you enjoy the rest when you pick it back up!

This made me laugh- very funny and inventive game :)

Ok, I've tried level 2 over 20 times and I'm now twitching, muttering to myself and staring at the wall with dead, unblinking eyes. So, yeah, it's kinda fun, and weirdly inventive- the information button was a real surprise. Might have another go...

This was cool- especially as you don't see many games like this on Newgrounds or... anywhere, really in the last 25 years! The nostalgic style gives the game both its strengths and weaknesses- summed up by the lawnmower style engine SFX which is equally funny, nostalgic and infuriating! I enjoyed playing anyway. I'm sure I'll come back to this :)

Not too bad. Very basic but has some good ideas- I liked the power ups and the level design is actually better than most Newgrounds platformers. The onslaught of blobs in particular was pretty unnerving! Big issues with this are the lack of sound effects, floaty controls and the way momentum carries on after you teleport- almost inevitably leading to a blind death. Very short, but had fun finishing it. Nice music too :)
