Nice idea for a puzzle game. I'm stuck between two levels where it's sending me back and forth between a screen with a circle and one with a square. Not sure if it's meant to be doing this...?

OSIRISSK2 responds:

after you put the square into the hole it snaps to the circle
and after you put the circle into its hole it snaps back to the square where there is gonna be the now opened exit

This gets 4 stars purely for the music and animations (mainly the music).

Would be great if you could add a high score API but maybe I'm being greedy here...

HaroldHirn responds:

Thanks! I'm glad you can hear the music. For some reason the music isn't playing in my browser. I might try looking into the high score API. I'm fairly new to game dev, so it might be too hard, but it would be fun to have!

Enjoyable platformer. Plays solidly, good graphics style, and the 'theoretical' controller support worked fine for me and is much appreciated!
If there's one thing I think this game needs it's something to make it unique. I got to level 3 and felt like there wasn't anything I hadn't seen before. Since there are so many platformers about, it would be great if you could find a way to make yours really stand out :)

Thank you very much! If you'd kept going, you'd have discovered a little secret šŸ‘€

This music loops in under 1.5 seconds and it's hurting my brain! If this and the long cooldown period on shooting are fixed, it would be a perfectly functional and even fun game. Sound effects would help too.

KlonXTheXYorkie responds:

i was going to update the videogame anyway :\ also if the new music is too loud, turn down volume

It's a fun, simple shooter that becomes quite relaxing once you get about 1,000 or so points, and then it's more about how long you feel like playing because the challenge is gone and you're instantly pulping almost everything on screen- I got to 5,000 and then decided that was enough- so I'm sure my world record will be broken before too long.
Also, I reached a level with two of the weapons where it said 'undefined' and I couldn't click on them. Not sure if this is a bug or feature? But, yeah, good game, and always plenty of additions you can make to a game like this.

SeasonQuest responds:

Yea I'm planning to do more updates. Thanks!

Wow, this is the best intro I've ever seen on Newgrounds! The presentation's just fantastic, I love the humour and the screen tapping robot.
The game is... confusing me a lot (and my maths isn't terrible). I don't know if it's because it's late and I'm tired, but I was struggling to work out what to do. It took me ages to beat the tutorial, and I got to level 8 more by accident than design.
I'd be really interested to read other people's comments, and see if it is just me- it might be!

MartinJacob responds:

Thank you for your feedback! About the game rules, you have to keep reaching the current level's objective while keeping the balance between all 4 colors. The cards are used to add or multiply values already present. You get bonus cards when you balance colors perfectly or place buildings next to grey ones (that appear randomly). Let me know if that helped!

Cool little platformer. Controls can a bit slidey, especially with the narrow jumps, but it's nice to see something like this on Under Judgement. One bug(?)- when I went to 'how to play', I couldn't leave. Might be me tho- I'm very tired!

ShxdowCorey responds:

Iā€™m glad you liked it, also to answer your question, you have to press backspace to leave

So, is this kind of a sandbox taster at the moment? I had fun jumping around and testing the weapons and things- or maybe there's more to do and I'm just bad at it!
It definitely has a solodev feel to it, but a bit of roughness isn't necessarily a bad thing for an indie game. Biggest improvement you could make would probably be the movement- the guy feels too clunky to be a match for the traps. Possibly some weighting, ducking and dash-jumping would help (there may be this already but, d+shift+w is a tricky combo for my fingers) as would controller support.
It's definitely got potential- look forward to seeing more.

TenshiHeisei responds:

Thanks for the feedback!
Yes, it's something like one-room sandbox. I agree with you that the movement very clumsy and difficulty. I really want to work on faster game dynamic in the future project ^_^

Enjoyable game. Good level design with a lot of things to do and some nice bits of humour- the animation of Dr Otto being shaken made me laugh especially!

RyanSilberman responds:

Thank you very much!

Jessie shaking Dr. Otto was one of my favorite animations I've put in as well.

Impressive! Love the cartoony look and how fun it is to zip around. Would be nice to have a different speeds option though (like the CC choices in Mario Kart) as I spent the first race crashing into everything and getting repeatedly lapped! Second course was a bit easier though with less sharp turns. Cool game :)

MohamedYassin responds:

Thank you so much! will look into possible expansion of speed options
