Impressive! Love the cartoony look and how fun it is to zip around. Would be nice to have a different speeds option though (like the CC choices in Mario Kart) as I spent the first race crashing into everything and getting repeatedly lapped! Second course was a bit easier though with less sharp turns. Cool game :)

MohamedYassin responds:

Thank you so much! will look into possible expansion of speed options

Plays really smoothly and looks great. Felt the music was a bit out of place, but maybe this is just me. Would be cool if you build on this game and add more stuff. One weird thing is that the scoreboard seems to accumulate your times so- I've had three goes- and my time is for all three put together!

Zygotimus responds:

I see that problem now with the leaderboards! It should be fixed now

I love the concept- and it's cool to discover what everything does and new and exciting ways to die (blown up by barrel? check. Squashed by block? check. Plummet into the void? oh yes...). Big problem I had with this was the janky character movement. It feels both unresponsive and floaty. There's no way of turning on a small block, for instance, without falling off the other side, and there's a slight delay after pressing the button before something happens. I always appreciate controller support on NG tho :)

Update: Tried again using keyboard- movement great. Think the game just doesn't like my Logitech gamepad. Weird!

KilledByAPixel responds:

Thanks! Can you elaborate more on the movement? I have put a lot of work into tweaking it. It is a bit fast for sure, but how often have you needed to turn on a small block in this game? If you play with an analog control stick you can have control to move slowly.

There should not be any delay when pressing buttons. It is very responsive here. What OS and browser are you using?

This is really good! The SNES-style graphics and sound are great, controls well, and the bosses are just fantastic. Slight gripe-I always appreciate controller support, but not having this in the menu is a bit annoying. Also, it would be good to see more inventiveness before you hit the bosses. Think this is already in the top 5 percent (at least) of NG bullet hell games, but could reach a higher level still.

ShibeyFaceGames responds:

Thanks so much for playing, and also your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have a bad habit of glossing over controller usage for menus, I'll try and fix that in a future update patch!

Even though I don't know the first thing about baseball, I love your bizarre and quirky writing style! I haven't got too far in this yet but first impressions are it's very much more of a story than a game- but still a very good one. I'll look forward to coming back to it.

neiltylerfloyd responds:

Thanks for playing, I hope you enjoy the rest when you pick it back up!

Beat it- but needed a pen and paper from 88 x 88! I like the commentary and some of the quirky bits like the spinning X, but it's very short and it's strange to only have a little bit of sound right at the end.
With better presentation and more to it, this could be pretty good :)

Ndog3856 responds:

THANK YOU! I understand your problems, I'll try to do better in part 2

This is surprisingly fun and challenging concept which needs a lot of quick thinking. Really crying out for a sound, and a bit more variety in the levels would be cool. Are you planning to expand on this one?

Droqen responds:

I may expand on this for a proper commercial videogame release if inspiration strikes, because the mechanic is really fun and I can imagine like a million cool ways to explore the space :)

And, I 100% agree about sound. I actually tried for a couple hours but nothing I tried felt quite right, so I figured I'd just release it silent rather than with a half-done sub-par sound design.

This is really well polished for a bullet hell game. The effects like screen movement make it stand out from most of these style games on Newgrounds. Does get a bit samey after a while- maybe some upgrades, new weapons or backgrounds would be good. Controller support is much appreciated too!

Yword responds:

Thank you very much for playing! And thanks for your suggestion too.

Had fun playing this and I like the crazy colours of this world- it's a bit of a glitch-fest though!

Spudzy responds:

PM me what glitches you found
