This was fun to play and nicely presented- some of the jumps certainly had me beat though!

MrMeanieButt responds:

Thank you

Good game for a first attempt. The physics were decent until you hit an obstacle, then they went a little weird, I like the clean feel of the graphics and sound (I think I've heard this song in a game before, not that this is a criticism- only so much good free music to go around), and the level design progresses well for level 2- I didn't get any further! Good luck for future projects.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Just to let you know from level 3 starts the fun part. Use save/load system for easier gameplay. My next game will be available around end of January and I am sure you will love it !

Cute and inventive. Think the best way to improve this would be to add a run button as the dog seems to spend too much time trundling about to either get to, or leave a goal- or maybe I'm just too impatient...

Hi KrunchyFriedGames!

Thanks for the feedback! It seems to be the consensus that a run-button and option to toggle Maze Dog's walking sound would have been smart additions. I mentioned it to another player - if I ever make another Maze Dog game, I'll be sure to add a skateboard. :P Thanks for playing!

I like the odd strategy game (generally stuff like Civ, rather than RPGs) but. with this, I found myself immediately overwhelmed by numbers and just wondering how much of this is needed from the start, and just what I was suppose to be basing my decisions on. Even the extra calming version of Greensleeves didn't help me that much!

It feels like it could be good once you get into it, but maybe the more casual player like me could do with a tutorial that takes you gently by the hand rather than sending you running to the hills.

blairox responds:

And that's what I call a well written and interesting review, thanks !

I understand your point. The game was meant to be hard, and with a lot of different options to have a good replayability. The counterpart of it is that it is quite complicated (and not always for good reasons I must confess).

I would suggest to play on easy difficulty which does not punish too badly non-optimal plays, and just test things. You can also have a look on the 'tips' in the front page, to have a general idea of how to succeed in this cruel world. Good luck !

The backdrop's nice, although the game is a bit limited and arbitrary. I did play it six times though.

Thanks for your time!

Fun and inventive game. I couldn't get past the level where you have to stay in the moving black box though as it kept telling me to do it again without cheating.

garylu1999 responds:

Yeah, I put that anti-cheat system in the game to keep people from using right-click cheat or any glitch that could be used to cheat. The game never accused me of cheating once when I play that level without cheating. For that level, try moving your mouse a little more slowly because on a few levels, the game has a harder time tracking your mouse movement if it is too fast.
